It doesn't take a genius to know that most of the £50M loss last accounts will be wiped out by the new tv deal which should net us another £40M or so and the extra money from actually getting out of the group stages of the CL as well as more sponsorship deals.

Soriano also expects revenues to top €400M (currently €325M). Once again, that'll be primarily due to the factors noted above. If we do top €400µ that should get us to 5th in the income table behind RM, Barca, BM and Utd.

I don't doubt, for one single minute.....the plan that was set in motion on day one, by Sheikh Mansour, then adapted through Platini and his ass-bandits, is not not being adhered to, improved upon and expanded to make us, not only comply with the bollocks which is FFP, but exceed them, laugh at them and take our club to a new level never seen before.

Can you believe that Negredo is on about 40% of the wages that Adebayor was on or that Navas is on a reported £44k per week?

That is certainly one major way we're managing to get our expenses down.

Hopefully that'll be a problem Utd have when they fail to get CL footy next season!

The wages are now heavily bonus based which is exactly how it should be

They really shouldn't need an extra carrot (in the form of money) to strive to be the best they can be.

Sadly, for some, it's all that matters.

No. Negredo is head, shoulders, chest and basically everything else above the Achilles tendon better than that lazy arse, he should be on 1000% MORE. But it's good we're managing the wage bill so effectively. As for Navas only being on £44k a week, if that's true then that's an exceptional bit of contract negotiation.

True, but then I suppose all of us work for the money more than the love of it.

I can see why buying class 'foreign' players is the way clubs are going when you compare them to Sturridge who was just a kid asking us for £50k per week.
