Run-in for the 3rd & 4th spot
Just been looking at the final run-in for City, Chelsea and Spurs, they look like this:
Chelsea.
Blackpool away
City home
Stoke away
Wigan home
Liverpool away
Birmingham home
West Ham home
Spurs home
Man Utd away
Newcastle home
Everton away
CITY
Wigan home
Chelsea away
Sunderland home
Liverpool away
Spurs home
Blackburn away
West Ham home
Everton away
Stoke home
Bolton away
SPURS
Wolves away
West Ham home
Wigan away
Stoke home
CITY away
Arsenal home
West Brom home
Chelsea away
Blackpool home
Liverpool away
Birmingham home
(highlighted top 4 opposition)
I'm giving Chelsea 23pts out of the games, City 22pts and spurs 21pts.
Makes for an exciting run-in and my only worry is the amount of other cup games we have.
I must admit that I would love a cup or two, but is CL too important to our owners and manager.
Cant see City blowing all three but we certainly have too many games coming up, if I had to sacrifice
one competition it would be the Europa League. Bit rough though to have come all this way in Europe
to let it go, hope the squad is big enough.
What must those poor deluded Evertonians be thinking, I couldn't care less and just think that a few
years back we were like them with 10 games to go and nowt to play for.
