So are Henderson, Lallana, Walnutt, Sterling, etc, etc...and i wouldn't have any of them either. That said, i do accept we need some more HG players.Topdawg wrote:He's an England player though...

Re: From Pogba to Delph
TBH, I'm not sure how good Delph actually is but he does seem to work hard and he is in the England team (not a great endorsement I admit) but he's HG and young enough at 26. I still think we have to have some core English players especially now that Jimmy and Frank have gone. He's probably not going to be that expensive either.

Umm, if we're in for him....you can bet he will be expensive.

Re: From Pogba to Delph
He signed a long contract not too far back but I'd be surprised if there wasn't a clause for a team with CL footy allowing him to leave.

I'm in the market for a new car soon. I really would like something smart, powerful and able to cope with Pennine winters. I've had a look at the new Range Rover, but failing that, I've spotted a 26 year old Skoda Rapid...

Like I said a good replacement for Jimmy. He gets in the England team before Jimmy anyway so Woy must think he is ok.

But now that Jimmy is with the dippers he will though, purely for Home Grown numbers.

Re: From Pogba to Delph
we could sign a nobody & pay next to nothing for home grown status but delph? come on get serious. If that's the best we can do then next season is going to be so underwhelming.

Hey, watch it! The Skoda 136 Rapid had a 62hp engine and could get from 0 to 60 in under 15 seconds!Topdawg wrote:Don't knock the skoda. Delph isn't that bad.
Check this beast out!
You can tell it's from the 80s, looks like it was coated in superglue and driven through Halfords!!

Talking of Top Gear. I will never be watching again now that that complete Bell End Chris Evans will be taking over. Hate that ginger twat with a vengeance !
If we dont get Pogba we'l go for Delph did make me laugh. Similar quality of player
Having said that I do actually quite like Delph. He is a grafter much like Milner & English & 25 so I wouldnt say no although obviously we need to be going for world class players as well. He could be a replacement for Milner or the Fernandos
