So, big game tonight....a draw wouldn't be too bad to take them back to ours for the return leg.

Will or SHOULD Sergio start tonight or would it be prudent to rest him and bring in Kelechi and a strong MF?

Will Joe or Willy start? For me, I'd be happy with team that's competitive but not necessarily full of first choice players, as long as we don't get a thumping.

I just don't want us to lose. I wouldn't mind Itchy being given an hour and then Sergio getting a run out if we are losing or it's level.

City haven't lost an away League Cup game since September 2010, losing 1-2 at the Hawthorns to West Brom. We've won six out of seven away games in the competition since.

Another victory tonight would do very nicely...

I can sense them scoring on a counter because when they counter it is 4 against 4 fir a few minutes.... when we attack it is 5 against 10 and we have just had the first shot on target after so much possession and 40 odd minutes...
They are more likely to score its all over the game and this is not cititis its crap tactics and not working hard when we dont have the ball..

IF....that c^nt is allowed another 45 mins on that pitch by the Manager, I'd rather the Manager just fuck off now.

It's absolutely embarrassing watching his effort, not only without the ball which is non-existent, but when he's had the ball, he played nearly every single ball sideways.

He's made two runs with the ball and both times, a player half his size has managed to chase him back and take the ball off him without him even knowing....it's pathetic.

AND....some think I have a personal vendetta against him. Razz

Furthermore, if Otamendi falls over or fakes a dive again, he can fuck off as well....it's as embarrassing as TLMLF's efforts.

Unfair....Mangala was marking Lukaku and he blocked him off....nobody else picked up Mori.

tbf...a shot that powerful from such close range, I doubt many would stand up and face it....the problem was at the source. Once again, a la the lazy twat on 2 occasions previously, if we give the ball back to them cheaply, they have the ability to cause us problems.
