Dirty old man or hard done by?

Considering his age I would say he was a bit hard done by its just a fatherly gesture to a younger woman. Everything depends on context I asked my missus & she agrees its not like he patted her bum or anything.

on a serious note political correctness is bullshit what harm was he doing. Here in oz when I first emigrated I was a manager in a shoe store. One of the female assistants who was about 21 took umbrage to me calling her love or darling. The fact is I call everyone that of the female gender as it is natural to where I was brought up.

I informed her quite sternly that I was happily engaged at the time and she needn't worry as she was the last person I could ever fancy if I had the inkling to play about, so get over it.

I think she got the message as I never heard another word about it & it didn't stop me addressing her or others in the same way.
