Manure complain about FA Cup ticket allocation
As if it were needed, an extra spice has been added to next month's FA Cup Manchester derby with news that Manchester United have complained to the Football Association about the number of tickets they have been granted for the tie at Manchester City
on 8 January. Under FA rules, United should be entitled to an
allocation equivalent to 15% of the ground capacity at the Etihad
Stadium, which would be 7,100 tickets. Instead, City have offered 5,500 -
exactly the same as United were granted for the first leg of the
Carling Cup semi-final two years ago.
Dunno if we can get away with that. We could always charge them £100 per ticket....

If that's what they're entitled to, then they should be given them. Well within their rights to complain.

Re: Manure complain about FA Cup ticket allocation
Just read this from the BBC website,
"United have special dispensation from the FA, due to Old Trafford's 76,000 capacity, to offer just over 11% to visiting fans, which is 8,500 tickets".
So it's alright for Utd to offer 11% but no-one else....ah, got it .

thanks for that info shaken.
no more special dispensation as we have enough fans to fill our place without utd fans.

Re: Manure complain about FA Cup ticket allocation
we are offering the same % coincidence?
Let's just hope we beat them again, without any hassle after the game 1-0, last minute wonder goal from Aguero/Mario will do for me!

Security reasons according to SSN but as far as i'm concerned the % should be the same! Also i wouldn't go to the shithole swamp if i was given free tickets....
Re: Manure complain about FA Cup ticket allocation
The Safety Advisory Group (made up of police & town hall reps) are to advise the FA to side with City on the grounds of saftey reasons.
I read this article earlier, and this quote has been pulled from it for one reason or another:
"Police will be wary after problems when the pair met in the Carling Cup semi final in 2010. Officers confiscated darts and golf balls from United's visiting supporters"
Cunts. Wasn't aware of that.
