He wouldn't be throwing $40M down the drain - he would be handling it pretty much the same as we are - I think.

He'd have sacked the manager. You don't believe me? Look at the evidence:

He sacked Avram Grant for finishing second in the league and getting to their first CL final. He sacked Ancelotti for finishing second. He sacked Ranieri just because he was there.

So I'm guessing if the current boss fell out with a player, he'd sack him.

Yeah but we aren't second and Ancellotti was losing the plot. Avram is not a good choice of manager for teams in the top half of the Prem - is he? Didn't he come in temporarily after Jose left?

Think you may have missed the point... RA is very good at dumping managers who don't see things his way. He'd have looked at Tevez, a £40m asset, and decided he'd protect his investment. Plus he's in league with jizzbum, which always helps...

Oh, you mean taking hostages and threatening to shoot them unless we meet their demands? Of course you don't. That would be a libellous thing to suggest and could get us all into a lot of trouble!
