Maybe. I'm hoping that once we sort the new academy out, we'll start getting a few players coming through the ranks.

If they're good enough, they'll make it.

I thought Gudetti was worth a punt in the first team and was dying to see him in the side but it never happened. I know he was out injured for a while but surely he merited a place in the cup teams at least? Hopefully the new man will give youth a chance.

Guidetti was injured for a large part of last season and looked a bit podgy when he came back for the EDS.

If he's good enough in training, I'm sure he'll get his chance.

I can't quite get my head around the notion that Mancini didn't play the youngsters. Didn't he give first team starts to 14 kids during his tenure? More than Taggart, Wenger and the multitude who were managers at Chelsea managed combined.
