How many chances does Negredo need?

He's had 3 or 4 pretty good chances and hasn't done it yet...

Aguero has missed a couple too, it happens. In a perfect world every chance would be scored by your strikers, unfortunately in real life that is unrealistic. Watch any game and note how many chances strikers miss compared to the chances they score from, i think you are being a bit too critical or would you rather see Dzeko on at half time?

Rather have him than Mr Spaz - Negredo was unlucky not to score and has played well with Aguero - he's hardly Garcia is he?

Just making a point MCM. Dzeko misses chances and many are overly critical. Negredo misses stacks and not a peep.

I wouldn't have put Kolarov on for Negredo though!

For all the anti-Garcia rants there's been (here and on other sites) he didn't do too bad today! but that's down to West Ham I think, rather than his defensive prowess!
Negredo was a tad unfortunate not to score, he's been in good form for Spain.

Good win, decent performance. Good to see Silva, Aguero and Negredo working well together. Negredo just needed a goal to top off the performance. I'd like to see more of Jovetic. I think Garcia did ok because West Ham didn't have a striker buzzing around in the box, he was still dodge at times and I have no trust in him there.

Thought Silva was immense today - created space and chances - was MOM for me.  In fact they all played really well - and apart from the 15 minutes after W Ham scored they dominated the game.  No nerves today for me!!

Although he played very well, Silva switched off a few times as did several players. I've noticed from corners, throw ins, free kicks etc. a few players get caught out. Happened to Micah as well from a throw in.

At 2-0 we should have been cruising but we took our foot off the pedal and ended up sweating it out.

Garcia had very little to do thank god. I still got the jitters at 1-2 even though we were bossing the game flashes of Villa still all too clear, nearly the same bloody colour too. I am a big fan of Dzeko & have always been a supporter of him starting but in all honesty I feel as much as Negredo misses he still looks more likely with his mobility strength and his all round involvement in the game & now feel it is far better we start with him.

Any bush fires near you loz? my son and his wife just emigrated to Sydney in September and i have an auntie near Rockingham in WA.
I heard on the news that there were fires in NSW.

No not near us in Perth thank god. Around 100 fires were burning out of control due to high winds over the weekend. The worrying thing at the moment is the fires are burning on 3 fronts but there is a possibility that they could merge . If that happens it will be catastrophic. The Fires are up in the Blue mountains region North of Sydney up in the hills. If Memory serves me correct about 1 hr out of Sydney. I was their back in 1993 with my wife as tourists from the uk . rockingham is about an hour from me down the coast, My wife had a job there last week and said it took about an hour or so to drive. I used to call down there with work up until my territory was changed about 5/6 yrs ago. I used to live in Barrhead  in the early 80's just noticed you are based in Glasgow. I bet it will have changed a lot from when I was there.

I lived in Oz from 90-91 Perth/Sydney mainly....isn't Rockingham south of Freemantle and the one with the nice harbour/boats etc?

Blue Mountains.......spent New Year 91' up there - the 3 sisters....and that scary carriage ride down the mountain!!

I'd go back tomorrow to live there, given the opportunity.

yeah can't complain about the lifestyle, I did the cable car in the blue Mountains & we did the worlds steepest train ride top to bottom in 1min 58sec. Love the sign please do not leave cameras valuables or children in the seats. Rockingham is just south of Fremantle about 20 mins on, Not sure about a port at rockingham  can't say I have ever been to a port there but I am sure they will have some smart boats as most of those coastal towns do. A bit further down is Mandurah and they have some crackers.

The fires are still burning with 14 out of control 66 fires in total with a dry day and high winds forecast for tomorrow temps in mid 30's so does not sound too good. % people arrested for deliberately starting some of the fires all teenagers of which 2 were girls and a kid of 11???

Yeah, it doesn't take much if it's really dry, especially in that region of NSW.

Used to love BBQing in Kings Park.

Yeah used to be called Burswood Casino Now called Crown Casino. Owned by James Packer son of the late Kerry Packer. Kings Park good place, Had our Xmas BBQ with the city supporters club their in 2011 & 2010. Good laugh. Still get a kick from going on you tube every so often & watching the city supporters club on the open top bus ride after we won the premier league. Doing the yaya song at Kings park. also a bit on channel 9 news who jumped on the bus to film it.
