We've got a bit of cash to spare....

There are some interesting names apparently available for transfer such as Di Maria, Falcao etc. We've got a bit of money left from our transfer limit (about £25M). This could be increased with the sales of Nasty, Richards, Sinclair and Guidetti towards £50M.

I know we have two for each position but is there anyone that would interest you at this late stage in he transfer window? I'm ignoring the HG issue for the time being.

Di Maria does interest me (we'd have to move Navas on though).

If we sold Navas, we could easily afford Di Maria and we'd have a CL slot free for him.

Personally, I'd want to look at a HG player.

Although, all that being said, I think we should hang on to the money we do have and use that to push us over the break-even point. If we make even a teensy profit this season, then next year our spending will be totally overlooked (as has been done with Chelsea) and we could go a bit mad.

I'd have been tempted to switch Dzeko for Cavanni.
Isco would be hard to fit into the team other than on rotation, but certainly cover for Yaya maybe to replace long term.

WHat homegrowns is there available? I would have looked at Butland or similar as backup to Hart (would have been cheape rthan Caballero), so easy to shove an English number 2 rather than having to cram them into outfield players.

Barkley is crocked, no need for us to buy another promising youngster who will sit on the injury table.
I would have kept Richards and got rid of Boyatta as Richards injured is still a better player than Boyatta.

There are scarce good young English players knockig round at the minute that would be available to sign. We missed on Cahill the other year for 7M as centre half to partner Kompany.
