He got an 8 out of 10 from Martin Samuel and a MOM....I'd say for a top football journo and a WHU fan, that's a decent score.
Brilliant? Maybe not brilliant, but he was our best player and had a very, very good game. Excellent.

West Ham were so bad, I'm not sure any of our players deserved an 8. I gave Sterling a 7.

I never said Samuel was wrong in that article...if you read my post again. I gave a reason 'why' Pep may have been pissed off. Was that interview great after the game? No, it wasn't - therefore, Samuel was correct in his article.
You know I like Martin Samuel, he talks a lot of sense.
