Been here since Tuesday too and not home till next Tuesday. Easier to do it when people are not there. This will be good banter tomorrow though.Topdawg wrote:Bastards making you work on a Saturday?blisteringblue wrote:Will be fun at work tomorrow !! They already think I'm a gruff Northerner

Silva has been sublime this season, always with a smile too. Love the little man.

Re: FA Cup live
As much as West Ham have been proper shit we look really balanced tonight. Maybe it's our time to win 13 straight games now.

Re: FA Cup live
Much better tempo from us. Much quicker passing when it mattered. More clinical in the first half. We could have scored 10 if we wanted

Re: FA Cup live
Sterling in behind Aguero suits both players for me.
I agree, the balance was spot on tonight. So many players being able to rotate and swap sides.
V. Good display. Could easily have been 8-0.
Silva...brilliant tonight. Sterling, 90 mins. MOM and dwarves a goal.

Sterling? No still don't get it. Bang average, but still he's great at giving away free kicks by running into the back of people.
Performance might shut up the anti Pep brigade, even though it was only against a shit West Ham team.

BMRTV on the bbc making their predictions.

I really do wonder if they know that much at all. Jesus was never going to figure...'I think it'll be a big day for Gabriel Jesus" says Alex!

Was nice to see what we can do without the 3 liabilities
Kokarov Bravo & Navas
Pep will probably bring all 3 back v Everton who will be much more up for it than WHU

I must have been watching the same match Martin Samuel was. Not sure what match you were watching TBM.

Thought KDB was bang average and has been for may weeks now....he needs to seriously up his game. Thought Garcia shown some nice touches when he came.

Re: FA Cup live
But you weren't on Martin's side last week though when he had a pop at Pep. For me, Sterling still isn't doing enough with his talent. He needs to be producing much more consistently and regularly. The boy has talent, is still young, but he'll be under pressure once Sane finally ups his game and once Jesus settles into Manchester.

Look, Sterling's 3 PL seasons at LFC were:
Goals - Assists
2 - 1
7 - 5
9 - 3
At City:
2015-16 8 - 2
2016 -17 6 - 5
For a winger, 10 goals a season is very good. He'll probably get that this year.
KDB has only scored 2 PL goals this season and he plays in a position that affords him more chances to score and he takes free kicks.
Sterling's doing OK this season....

Raheem Sterling has completed 15 take-ons in the opposition's box this season, more than any other player in Europe's top 5 leagues.

Re: FA Cup live
The thing that made me lmao was his attempted chip over the Burnley keeper last week....good job Serge banged the ball in the net to deflect his embarrassment
Tbh, it didn't make me lmao, it just made me think omfg!

Re: FA Cup live
I cant understand how a guy who is playing as good as he is at the moment gets so much stick. last week against Burnley FFS he stubbed his toe into the ground, show me a footballer who has never done that before. Last season I remember Silva doing exactly that against Crystal Palace it happens.
Sterling has been playing brilliantly this season yet every little thing that doesn't go his way gets picked up by some on here. I give credit where it is due when he has a bad game I will say so & believe me last season I could have strangled him. My only beef is I do feel he needs to toughen up & not get knocked off a ball so easy.

Re: FA Cup live
I finally got to watch the game tonight & as poor as west Ham were we were good which was a credit to pep given the stick he has been given these past couple of weeks. Sterling was my MOM & for me our poorest players were Stones & KDB.
I still think we need to step up a bit for Sundays game against Everton as we always seem to struggle against a koeman side & after the stinging criticism they got from their manager after yesterdays defeat I reckon they will be going out with a serious point to prove.

It's all opinions. You don't agree with my opinion and I can't see how anyone can say he has played brilliantly.
At the end of the day Oz we both think we're right, but only one of us is actually right
